WHERE ARE WE LOCATED?

Newcastle Multicultural SDA Church is located on the ever busy street of Newcastle Road, Wallsend NSW. Most of the public know us as “the church with the pointy top” or “the triangle church”.

Parking is not currently available onsite, but is available at the front of the church (as shown in images). Please try your best not to park in a driveway - although we appreciate that as a great way of getting to know our neighbours too! ;)

WHAT TIMES DO WE START?

Our general program begins with Sabbath School Prelims at 9:30AM in the Big Church. See below for more information.

Sabbath School: 9:30AM - 11:00AM

Main Service: 11:15AM - 12:30PM

Lunch: 1:00PM onwards

We love our Food! Please join us for Lunch in the Hall, after our Main Service! :) All Welcome!

FEEL LIKE CHATTING MORE?

FAQ

When are worship services held?

Every Sabbath (Saturday) morning.

I want to come to Church but need a lift, is this possible?

Yes. We try our very best to bring anyone that wants to come to Church! If you require a lift, please just let us know :)

Do you have a time where I can go for special prayer during the week?

Yes! Every Wednesdays at 6PM in our Church Hall, we have Prayer Meeting. You are welcome to join and to let us know what you would like prayed for.

Do I need to bring anything to Church?

No. You don’t have to bring anything—just yourself. If you would like a Bible, you can borrow one when you get here. You can also download a free Bible app to your smartphone.

Should I come to Church even if I don’t know anyone?

Yes! Most DEFINITELY! Our church is a place where all people are welcome, all shapes, sizes and ages. People of different faiths are welcome too. We would love to meet you! If you feel nervous, bring a friend or just send us a message and we will make sure you have a 'buddy' waiting for you! Please don't be shy.

Will I be asked to give money?

Every week we give our regular attenders the opportunity to support a variety of causes. It’s not required or expected that you give a donation, especially if you’re visiting us for the first time so please don't stress.

Will I be asked to speak publicly or pray?

No. We don't like to force people to do things here. If you participate in a small group or sabbath school on Saturday mornings, you will be given the opportunity to offer an opinion on what is being discussed, but we won't ever single you out to say something. You may however, be welcomed by name in our main service ;) But don't let that scare you. We just want to let you know you are very welcome and we love you. Prayer is an important part of our worship, and you are welcome to join in, but no one will ever force you to pray.

Who do I speak to if I have any questions?

Ask if you can speak to one of the leadership team—the pastor or one of the elders. Or just start with someone who looks friendly!

FOR OUR VISUAL VISITORS!

If you feel a bit overwhelmed and would appreciate one of us standing out the front to wait for you (cannot guarantee pompoms!) PLEASE LET US KNOW! We would be more than happy to do so! :)
